Wow — what a busy 10 weeks!

We’ve just wrapped up a demanding period supporting several of our long-standing customers through their annual outages. It’s been a great opportunity for the whole IES team to bring its skills together.

Here’s a snapshot of what we delivered:

🔧 Nearly 100 instrument calibrations using our own Beamex MC6 and pumps
⚡ More than 100 metres of new containment, two new RIO cabinets and over 1,500 metres of cabling
💡 MCC maintenance, PFC checks and capacitor changes, board checks, and temporary lighting and power to help other contractors keep their outage work moving
🔌 Fibre optic cabling and splicing to connect the new RIO cabinets to the existing system
🛠️ Commissioning and setup support from our technicians

A lot of the preparation was completed in the weeks before each outage, helping us deliver the final changeover within a 48-hour window. Our in-house supervisors managed the projects behind the scenes, with many of the works delivered as turnkey packages supplied and managed by IES.
