Two months into Project Hercules, we’re pleased to report significant progress across the feeder pillar installation works, with key milestones now successfully achieved.
A major step forward has been the delivery of the dockside feeder pillars, manufactured by Wiremek, alongside the continued installation of the associated low-voltage infrastructure. Our engineering team has successfully installed and made off substantial 500mm² SWA LV supply cables, with all remaining cable runs now pulled into position and securely fixed to the stainless steel containment system already in place.
The project has now entered one of its most critical phases: the termination of the main 500mm² supplies.
Working with cables of this size demands a high level of technical expertise, precision, and attention to detail. There is no room for compromise—every termination must be completed accurately and to the highest standard first time. Our experienced engineers are carefully progressing through this stage, ensuring both electrical integrity and long-term reliability for the completed installation.
At Innovative Engineering Solutions, we believe quality extends beyond functionality alone. While delivering robust and dependable infrastructure remains our primary objective, equal importance is placed on the presentation and finish of our work. Every element of the installation is completed with professionalism and pride, ensuring the finished system reflects the standards our clients have come to expect from IES.
As Project Hercules continues to progress, our focus remains firmly on delivering infrastructure that is safe, reliable, and built to perform for many years to come.
We look forward to sharing further updates as the project advances towards completion.
