Over the past month the IES installation team have worked relentlessly to ensure we are where we needed to be in readiness for commissioning the new Conveyors and electrical control system at one of our customers.

We had agreed with the customer that we would achieve phase 1 of the project before the end of the calnder year in which I’m delighted to announce that we have done exactly that.

Last week over a 72 hour window our installation , automation and commissioning team managed to fully commission the new systems without causing any unplanned delays but more importantly in a safely fashion.

The new system is now up and running which includes A new Siemens S71500 controller , Nee MCC panel fully designed and built by IES, New HMI screen , PLC’S and safety system. We have also deigned and built a new control program that has been applied and has elimated previous problems that occurs at times.

We are now all looking forward to a busy 2024 in which we will be competing phase 2 and 3.
